The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers the boating public many services to ensure a safer, more secure maritime environment.
Established by Congress in 1939, the 27,000 members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary are Semper Paratus – "Always Ready".

Vessel safety checks, lake patrols, safe boating courses, search and rescue and marine environmental protection are just a few of the services provided by the Auxiliary nation-wide and right here in Southern Wisconsin.

If you are new to boating, or if you are an experienced boater, please feel free to explore this resource-based website or contact us to learn more about our programs and classes or even become a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. We hope you'll learn more about safe, responsible boating and what we in the Auxiliary do to remain Semper Paratus for you.
