U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary courses provide instruction to boaters at all levels, from the fundamental to the advanced. Our courses are taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors committed to the highest standards of the U.S. Coast Guard.

LOCAL "ABOUT BOATING SAFELY" CLASSES
This beginner, 8-hour boating class will give you the knowledge you need to be safe on the water. Upon successfully passing the exam given at the end of the class you will receive certification from the WI DNR and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Additionally, many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete About Boating Safely. Details for all classes:

COST: $40.00 for the first person and $20.00 for the second person using the same text. Two people per text maximum.

Upon successfully passing the exam given at the end of the class you will receive certification from the WI DNR and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.

The fee includes lunch and refreshments.

The class is limited to 25 students. Students age 12 and over may attend. We encourage a parent to also participate with their children age 17 or under.

OTHER BOATING CLASSES
U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary also provides instruction to boaters in navigation, seamanship, sailing, GPS use, personal watercraft, radar for mariners and other exciting subjects.
